ANIMAL SPECIES:Blue-lip Anemonefish, Amphiprion latezonatus (Waite, 1900)
As its standard name implies, the Blue-lip Anemonefish has blue lips as well as a broad bar on the sides of the body. It lives in association with anemones on offshore reefs.

It has also been called the Wide-band Anemonefish.Identification
The Blue-lip Anemonefish is most easily separated from the other Australian anemonefishes by the presence of a broad bar on the sides of the body.
Size range
The species grows to 15 cm in length.Distribution
The species occurs from southern Queensland to northern New South Wales and Lord Howe Island.
