After adding the BBC Life footage of Sailfish feeding to the site last week, Tom Rayner suggested that I look at 'The Last Sardine'.
This spectacular movie clip shows Mahi Mahi, Striped Marlin, Kajikia audax, California Sea Lions, Zalophus californianus and even a Bryde's whale, Balaenoptera edeni, feeding on a school of baitfish off the Baja Pacific coast.
Thank you to Dr. Robert L. Brownell, Jr. for identifying the whale and Dr Peter Shaughnessy for identifying the California Sea Lions.
