Australian Museum Trustees
The Museum is governed by a Trust established under the Australian Museum Trust Act 1975.
Our 11 Trustees play a valuable role in monitoring the performance of the Museum, assisting with strategic planning processes and acting as advocates for the institution.
They are appointed for three year terms with a maximum of 10 consecutive years of service.
The NSW Minister for the Arts, the Honourable George Souris, in consultation with the Australian Museum Trust, appoints our Trustees.
Our incoming Trustees for 2014 are:
- David Armstrong (Financial Services Partner, Price Waterhouse Coopers)
- Steven Gregg (investment banker, Non-Executive Chairman, Goodman Fielder)
- Dr Rod Kefford, AM, FACE
- Robynne Quiggin, Council Member, Australian Institute of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS)
